Multiatribute Optimization of Ship Design

The mathematical model of ship design is updated for each new design in relation to the type and size of the ship, actual rules and regulations and particular requests of the client. 

By application of the multiattribute optimization of ship design a family of optimal designs is generated. 

Main characteristics of optimal designs

If necessary (upon the client’s request) optimization procedure is repeated in the interesting area of feasible designs with the finer „resolution”. 

If necessary (upon the client’s request) optimization procedure is repeated with modified (to some extent) design requirements. 

Selection of a preferred design from the family of optimal designs is performed in the cooperation with each patricular client.
